250 women inspired for ‘Second Innings’ through SEGUE Sessions at Gurgaon

After the panel discussion, each organization delivered a 15 minute presentation on their D&I journey. They shared their best practices and how they have been able to successfully pursue a focused gender diversity agenda. The workshop on Essentials of a Successful Comeback facilitated by Ms. Usha Pillai, Chief Consultant - WINSKILLS, FLEXI Careers India, featured 2 women role models - Ms. Jyotsna Makkar, Director Marketing and Communications, Microsoft India, and Ms. Shalini Prasad, Global Account Manager, Vodafone Global Enterprise. The session focused on the aspects to bear in mind while orchestrating an effective and sustainable comeback.
After the workshop, it was time for the most awaited 'Meet and Greet' session. The specialty of the conference was that apart from skill-building and networking, each of the handpicked 250 women out of 800 who had registered for the event got an opportunity to deliver an elevator pitch and submit their resume to the organizations participating in the event.
One of the highlights of Gurgaon Edition was the Multitasking Cut-Out depicting the Stree Shakthi with multiple hands. The forum witnessed women from varying backgrounds and fields utilizing the opportunity to not only network with each other, but also with the role models of the prominent companies that participated.
